Amber's Cruise

We had such a wonderful time on our cruise! There are many stories I could tell, but I already have too many pictures, I will spare you all of ALL the stories! So I will try to make quick captions.
Here is a picture of our boat out in the middle of the water. It was called the Inspiration. Take note of the smaller boat next to it. The smaller boat was our trolly back and forth to land. The smaller boat held about 250 people, so as you can see our boat was GINORMOUS!

This was our first view of Grand Caymen. It was really really beautiful there. Grand Caymen is actually British territory. The island is about 350 miles from Miami and 180 miles from Jamaica. There are no taxes on the island.

I just liked this picture of me and Ashlie for some reason.

So there is a place in Grand Caymen called "Hell." So Ashlie and I were being little devil's!

"Hell" is actually coral with mildew grown on it and it makes it discolored.
After Hell we went to the turtle farm. It was kinda interesting. We saw lots of turtles and got to hold some of the smaller ones.
Once we left the turtle farm we went to what is called, "stingray city." It is about a 20 minute boat ride out to the middle of the ocean and there is a place out in the middle of it that is about waist high and LOTS of stingrays hanging out there just waiting for someone to play with them. It was so fun! If you look in this picture alone you can actually count about 10 stingrays.

This sting ray, her name was bubbles (they can actually tell who is who) Bubbles had a scar over her left eye. Anyway, bubbles is so big, she covers me and Ashlie both!

We like this picture, Ashlie, Bubbles, and I are all smiling for the camera.

This tour guide said, "OK mom on the count of 3 snap the picture" he said 3 and put that sting ray above our heads!

We really had a lot of fun and would definitely do it again!

As if we don't eat enough on the ship, we got hungry and had to eat at Margaritaville. Again it was a lot of fun!

Mom and Ashlie decided to go para sailing. I had been before and decided not to go this time. Anyway they got this picture from the air. I thought it was really pretty.

This is the Ritz Carlton of Grand Caymen. Many famous people have suites here. Bill Gates bought out the top 2 floors for 40 million dollars! Other people that have properties in Grand Caymen are: Michael Jordon, Brittany Spears, Oprah, Cher, Magic Johnson, Tiger Woods, President Bush, Michael Jackson and many, many more.

I thought this was a pretty picture of the sunset one night. Over all we had a really, really good time! We could not wait to get home to our husbands, next time they will go with us!

It don't matter... it wont kill you!

We had a really good weekend with Cole. It started with Chloe's birthday party on Saturday. After the birthday party we went to the drive in. We layed down the back seats in the RAV so Cole could play with his cars back there while we watched the movie. Eventually he fell asleep, but when it was time to go home we woke him so we could sit up the one seat and put him in his booster and buckle him. We got him in the seat and he kept mumbling something. We would say his name and holler his name and he would not answer. He was definitely asleep but kept trying to talk. I was pretty cold and I think Colton was too. This is an actual picture of him sleeping in his seat, covered from head to toe.

Well Jack kept complaining about how hot he was and even rolled down the window to hang his head out at one point. All the while Cole kept mumbling and trying to talk in his sleep. He was saying, "ee on mad er e urrrrrr ttt eettt keeeeeellll ooooo!" Jack and I were laughing and we would ask him, "what are you saying Colton?" After the back and forth of his mumble and our asking about 3 times he finally said, "IT DONT MATTER IF YOUR HOT!! IT WONT KILL YOU!!!" It was totally funny!!! And he slept the rest of the way home, in fact I carried him in once we got there.

Sunday morning we all got up and went to church. Colton had to make sure his hair was in a Mohawk before he could go anywhere. I swear he is just like Jack. At one point he even yelled at me for "messing it up." He is usually opposed to pictures but he let me take this one so I could send it to Granny Pat.
It was my turn to roast marshmallows with him. Although he was very upset because I ate all the pink ones!
Sunday all of my dads family went to Pizza Hut for Mothers Day. Here is my dad and Cole playing cars at Pizza Hut. It is also my new favorite picture.

Look who turned 1

Its still hard to believe my Tiff is a mommy! And miss Chloe has just turned a year old! She looks beautifull in her tutu!

Tiffany had her cake made in Murfreesboro! It was the most beautiful birthday cake I had ever seen. And it tasted really good too.

She really didnt know what to do with her cake at first, then she got the hang of it.

It makes me so sad that these two dont live here. But I dont blame them, I would be a beach babe too if I had the choice!

Here Tiff and Chloe are opening the gift Jack, Cole and I got for her birthday. Miss Chloe is a BIG UT fan (of course her mommy and daddy have nothing to do with it!)

Here is a picture of the unholy heard, minus one (we missed you Jill!!!) Its always a good time to get together. It dont happen much any more. I love these girls, there is nothing like them. Recent times make me appreciate the good people and times I have had in my life. I LOVE YOU ALL!

Odds and Ends

Colton wanted to try on my mothers glasses, he looked totally funny!

Jack and I had dentist appointments on Monday. We were just going to get our teeth cleaned and for check up's. I had went to the dentist two weeks earlier because I had broke a tooth. They took one look at it and said, "there is no saving that tooth... its going to have to come out." Then they gave several reasons as to why it would have to be considered "oral surgery." It was a rough couple of days but on my return visit they said it was healing well and I had no other problems with the exception of them wanting to pull my wisdom teeth.
Jackie was not so lucky. It had been 15-20 years since he had been to the dentist. He had quite a lengthy list of things that needs to be done. About 7 cavities that need filled, 2 of which are very very bad. They want to crown a tooth and of course pull his wisdom teeth too. He was in a LOT of pain when we come home.
In this picture I was showing off my clean teeth and Jack was showing how upset he was.

Just another side note: If American Idol entertains any of you at all, if you have not already, I would suggest you check out this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxPZh4AnWyk
It is Susan Boyle from Britain has talent. It is very interesting. Check it out.

Work & School

At work last week we had a volunteer luncheon. On the menu was a loaded baked potato bar and a fruit bar. This is the fruit the kitchen put together. I thought we did a good job, I was very proud of it.
On Friday was the relay for life. Our team ended up raising more than $5,100 for the American Cancer Society. Our goal was 5 thousand and we reached it. We thought we did a good job for our first year participating.

I saw Erica at the relay. It was the first time I had saw my "little sister" since the day before my wedding. I have missed her.
Ok so this is kinda silly but, I made homemade cheese sauce for macaroni and cheese for the first time this week. I burned my fingers in the process :D but it was really good.

As far as Jackie's school goes, its going well. He has only about 4 weeks left. He has started studying really hard and is trying to prepare for his final. It's coming up on the end and we both are getting very excited, but continue to keep him in your prayers.
